However, many individuals and groups want to suppress any rational discussion of sexually expressed boyhood relationships with older males, under the false premise of "protecting children". They are afraid of open discussion of new information on these issues, so they resort to misinformation, lies, and threats. They have worked long and hard to establish the false public perception that all such relationships are harmful, and they lash out hysterically at any who dare to challenge them.
